Don’t miss out on these fun opportunities!

Face-to-face IYWM workshops include a themed ball.

Costumes are encouraged, but not required. Join us for our annual costume ball! Finger foods will be provided, and there will be a beer/wine cash bar. Come in your best space inspired ensemble, or come as you are! Prizes will be awarded for best costumes. Come and dance the night away!

Authors of various genres

The tradition of the booksigning event started over 10 years ago in the Greensburg Barnes and Noble and has grown from 3-8 authors (in those early years) to over 40 authors every year at the event. Around 7 years ago, we moved the signing to campus to host our ever-growing gathering of authors. In 2017, the booksigning was hosted for the first time ever at the brand new performing arts center in downtown Greensburg.

You buy directly from each author or publisher. Cash is always accepted and many will also accept credit cards via Square. Contact:

In past years, the IYWM workshop was run by the Writing Popular Fiction Alumni Committee, which collected donations for the Scholarship Basket Raffle. All money raised in ticket sales went to the Writing Popular Fiction Alumni Scholarship Fund. As Alumni of the WPF program, the committee values the impact storytelling and writing has on our lives. The continued support of the WPF program, our fellow Alumni and the scholarship awarded made it possible for more great works of fiction to enter our lives.

Should a basket raffle continue in future events, we will add details and necessary information here.
